Clerici was founded in Milano in 1929 thanks to mr. Alfredo Clerici, who had designed and built the first italian pleating machine. In the same year the machine met immediately the favour of the market.
Some years later , mr. Clerici Junior,Giordano, started leading the company .
He improved what his father had established and developped new machineries. He updated the production,which placed his machines ahead  of competitors. 
This allowed the company  to become well-know all over the world
